As well as the practice here in Medstead Natalie also works with Gill Driver and colleagues at Winchester Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, Winchester. Natalie is also on the lecturing team at the University of Southampton, School of Physiotherapy.
In her last post Natalie was heading a practice based in both LA Fitness and Fitness Exchange sports clubs in the City of London, providing a physiotherapy for the gym members and city offices close by. A new walk in physiotherapy service was also set up in several of the Medi Centres.
Clinical Interest
For the last 13 years Natalie has been involved with Physiotherapy in Sport.
She has a general interest in all aspects of sports injuries and is a keen tennis player, golfer and runner.
One of Natalies' main interests at present is golf biomechanics and injuries. Having completed the specific golf injury courses recognised by the PGA in the UK and Australia she is in the process of setting up a specialist "get fit for golf" clinic with the local golf pros.
In the 1990's Natalie was involved with a Sunday League Football Team for over 2 years and her main duties were :
- Pitch side assessment of injuries
- Advice on management of acute injuries
- Strapping and taping
- Development of personalised exercise plans for injured players
Her degree dissertation was also based on the prevalence of injuries in Martial Arts.
Natalie is an active member of the CSP, ACPSM, AACP and OCPPP
